Meet Cashnip Kitty

In the bustling town of Tulsa, Oklahoma, there's a cat with a very special talent. This cat, named Cashnip Kitty, wasn't always a downtown star. He began his life as Sir Wines A Lot, a rescue from an animal shelter. In 2015, he found a new home with Guru Stew, a property management company. At first, he was just supposed to chase away the mice. But soon, he showed he could do much more.

The Mystery of the Money Piles

One day, the employees at the office noticed something strange. Little piles of money were appearing mysteriously by the door. No one knew how it got there, so the team decided to investigate. They tried an experiment, slipping a dollar bill through the door. To their amusement, Sir Wines A Lot swiped it right up!

A Little Feline Hustler

But how did the money end up being left at the door in the first place? Someone walking by must have seen the curious kitty through the glass, trying their luck by offering a dollar, and to their surprise, Sir Wines A Lot took it! Word spread, and more people came to play this fun game, leaving dollars for the cat and watching the pile of cash grow.

Turning Talent into Charity

Once the staff realized the cat's knack for cash gathering, they embraced his skills. Sir Wines A Lot got a new name: Cashnip Kitty! They even put up a sign, letting everyone know about his unique ability. But the story doesn't stop there. All the money Cashnip collects is donated to the Tulsa Day Center For the Homeless. Because of his cute little paws, Cashnip has raised hundreds of dollars.
