Conan the Cat: From Stray to Security Guard

The Stray Cat

Conan, a 7-month-old stray cat, was discovered living in the parking lot of an office building in the Philippines. Weak and malnourished, he was taken care of by a kind housekeeper who fed and monitored his health during her breaks.

The Adoption

In early June, the staff decided to bring Conan on board as a trainee for the security cat position at the Worldwide Corporate Center in Manila. His resemblance to the previous security cat, Mingming, was uncanny.

The Perfect Fit

Conan quickly proved himself to be the perfect fit for the job, mirroring Mingming's behavior and bringing cheer to the security guards. He follows them on their rounds, providing companionship during long shifts.

A Motivating Presence

Security guards have expressed that Conan's presence has made their work environment more enjoyable and less lonely. He has become a beloved member of the team, often found greeting visitors at the entrance.
