George the cat got a job at Stourbridge Junction Railway Station when his owners had to move out of the country. Luckily, the station supervisor, Ian Tomlinson, adopted him. Now, George has a very important job.

George's official title is senior mouse catcher. But he does way more than just that! Not only does he keep the station free of rodents, but he also hosts meet and greets with passengers, makes announcements about the train schedules, checks tickets, and makes sure all the equipment is working properly.
