This is Henry IX, and he's no ordinary cat. He works at the Hampton Court Palace Gardens. Henry is a very regal-looking cat, which makes sense since he’s part of a palace! He has been a cherished team member for 8 years now, and everyone adores him.

Henry's Job Duties

Henry has a lot of different jobs at the gardens. Sometimes he inspects the plants. He walks around the gardens, making sure everything is in tip-top shape. Other times, he likes to lay on the plants and relax in the sun. But one of his most special skills is convincing people that he is a plant! He's really good at blending in and making people smile.

A Special Nomination

Because of all his hard work, Henry has been nominated as a finalist in the National Cat Awards. He’s in the Cat Colleagues category, which celebrates cats who help their humans at work. It’s a big honor, and everyone at the palace is very proud of him.
