Truffles isn't your average feline. This special cat wears glasses to help kids feel more confident about their own eyewear. But among her collection, Truffles has one very special pair that she rarely wants to take off.

How Truffles Found Her Calling

In 2018, Danielle, who works at a children's optical shop in Pennsylvania, adopted Truffles. The cat quickly became the newest employee at the shop.

Danielle first fitted Truffles for glasses as a fun trick, using flexible frames designed for premature babies without any lenses. What happened next surprised everyone. Truffles not only wore the glasses for a treat but seemed to genuinely enjoy having them on. The cat even started standing near the glasses and waving Danielle over to put them on.

A Natural Therapy Cat

Seeing how comfortable Truffles was with glasses, Danielle taught her how to remove them on her own. This way, Truffles could decide how long she wanted to wear them - often about an hour at a time.

It's no surprise that Truffles wins employee of the month every single month at A Child's Eyes in Pennsylvania. This therapy cat has found her purpose - making kids feel good about their glasses while looking pretty stylish herself.
