Animal Therapy Brings Taylor Swift's Eras Tour to UCLA Mattel Children’s Hospital
Bringing Joy to Patients
Several dogs and a miniature horse recently brought a special experience to patients at the UCLA Mattel Children’s Hospital. These patients, who couldn't attend the concert, were treated to an exclusive event organized by the UCLA People-Animal Connection. This program aims to bring emotional healing to critically ill patients and their families through interactions with therapy animals.
Eras Tour Fashion Show
The highlight of the day was the Eras Tour fashion show held outside the Ronald Reagan Medical Center in Westwood, California. Each animal, dressed as a Taylor Swift album, strutted down the red carpet to the singer's music, showcasing their adorable outfits.
Parade Through the Hospital
Following the fashion show, the therapy animals paraded through UCLA Mattel Children’s Hospital, bringing smiles to those who couldn't make it outside. They even handed out official Eras Tour merchandise and friendship bracelets, spreading joy and positivity.
Second Show
Due to popular demand, an encore was requested, leading to a second fashion show at the UCLA Santa Monica Medical Center. The event was a huge success, brightening the day for many patients.
