A Daily Walk Turns Scary

Haley loved taking her dog Clover on daily walks. Clover, a Maremma mix, always enjoyed their regular neighborhood route. But one day, something unexpected happened.

While walking, Haley suddenly collapsed to the ground. She was having a seizure. Clover, seeing this, immediately sprang into action.

Clover's Brave Decision

In a neighbor’s security camera footage, a car drives by and it almost looks like in that moment, Clover had an idea. Haley was still holding Clover’s leash tightly, so Clover took a moment to free herself.

Then, as another car came around the corner, Clover ran out into the road and placed herself right in front of it. She stared directly at the driver, making it clear she needed help.

Help Arrives

The driver, a man named Dryden, saw what was happening. He got out of his car and rushed over to check on Haley. He talked to her, letting her know help was there, and then quickly went to a nearby house to ring the doorbell and get extra help.

More Help From Neighbors

The homeowner called the paramedics while Dryden focused on Haley. But Clover still didn’t think her job was done. She ran back home to get more help.

Clover Finds More Help

Haley’s sister Riley answered the door and saw Clover alone. She knew something was wrong and followed Clover back to Haley. Riley stayed with her sister until the paramedics arrived.

The Happy Ending

Thanks to Clover and the fast-acting neighbors, Haley got the care she needed just in time. After a few days in the hospital, she went home and is doing well. Haley’s family is endlessly grateful for Clover’s heroism.
