Today's Fat Bear Week matchups resulted in exciting wins for 806 Spring Cub and 901, the mother bears.

806 Spring Cub vs. 428

In the first matchup, 806 Spring Cub, the junior champion, faced off against 428, the 3 and a half-year-old offspring of Grazer. Despite 428's lineage, 806 Spring Cub emerged victorious, showcasing rapid growth and securing a spot in the next round.

901 vs. 402

The second matchup featured 901, a first-time mother to 3 cubs, including one lost in September, versus the seasoned mother, 402. Despite 402's experience as a skilled fisher-bear, 901's dedication and weight gain from caring for her cubs helped her clinch a win, advancing her to the next round.
