Meet the Sassy Desert Rain Frog!

Meet the desert rain frog—a tiny ball of sass that squeaks when disturbed!

Meet the Sassy Little Guy

Nobody dislikes being woken up more than this bulbous little guy! The desert rain frog is tiny but mighty, and he's got something very serious to say if you interrupt his nap.

Why So Squeaky?

The desert rain frog doesn't have very long legs, so he can't jump or move away quickly. Instead, he's come up with the most intimidating squeak you can imagine. It's his way of scaring off intruders and saying, "Leave me alone!"

The Frog Golf Ball

Picture a frog that's about the size and shape of a golf ball. That's our desert rain frog! He's round and plump, perfect for living in the desert. His soft belly can absorb moisture from the sand, while his skin takes in water from any fog around him. Pretty cool, right?

Burrow King

Despite his size, this frog is incredibly strong. He can dig burrows 20 centimeters deep to keep cool and conserve water. Being a nocturnal animal, he spends his days tucked away inside his burrow, snoozing until nightfall.

Don't Disturb the Nap

If anything dares to dig in his spot, they'll get a taste of his sassy attitude. So, think twice before waking this little guy up!
